Lemon Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. soft butter
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    3 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter and eggs.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Blend well.
    Stir in nuts and lemon rind. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pan immediately.
