Ingredients

2 c. butter, softened
2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
5 c. oats
24 oz. chocolate chips
8 oz. Hershey bar
3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients in order given.
In medium bowl, mix all dry ingredients; add this to large bowl of mixture.
Add chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts.
Roll into golf ball-size balls.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Remove from pan and cool completely.
Do not overbake.
Cookies do not appear to be done.
