Toll House Pan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl, combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Mix well. Stir in chips and nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
