Crackling Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. melted fat
2 c. buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
1 c. cracklings or bacon, fried crisp
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add milk and egg; beat well. Add cracklings and pour into well-greased skillet or muffin tins. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Serves 8.
