Ingredients

1/2 lb. dates
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
4 c. chopped pecans
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda (baking)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. margarine
Preparation

Mix all fruit in a large bowl.
Combine all dry ingredients; sift over fruit mixture.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add to fruit and flour mixture; mix by hand, adding enough orange juice to make right consistency.
Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
