Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. salted Spanish peanuts
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 c. soda crackers, crushed, or oatmeal
Preparation

In large bowl, combine cream cheese, flour, sugar, butter, corn syrup, soda and egg.
Mix low speed.
Fold in peanuts and crackers.
Cover; chill about 2 hours.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 60 cookies.
