Ingredients

2 2/3 c. coconut (1 pkg.; Angel Flake)
1/2 c. slivered almonds
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
4 egg whites
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. mini chocolate chips (optional)
food coloring (on certain holidays)
Preparation

Combine coconut, sugar and flour, then add egg whites, almond extract, then last almonds.
Stir good.
Drop teaspoon size on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
