Cranberry-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. cranberries
2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. shortening
juice and rind of 1 orange
boiling water
Preparation
-
Mix dry ingredients together.
Put orange juice and rind in measuring cup. Add shortening and then fill cup to the 3/4 mark with boiling water.
Add to dry mixture and mix.
