Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts or dates
    1 c. mashed bananas (2 bananas)
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Stir flour, salt and baking soda together and add to creamed mixture.
    Mix and then add nuts or dates and bananas.
    Mix well and then pour into a well-greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
