Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chocolate chips (12 oz.)
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs.
Beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until brown.
Cool slightly.
Remove from sheets. Makes 6 dozen.
