Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. All-Bran
    2 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. molasses
    2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nutmeats
Preparation
    Soak All-Bran in sour cream for 30 minutes.
    Cream together Crisco, egg, sugar and molasses.
    Dissolve soda in hot water.
    Add flour and salt.
    Stir into bran mixture.
    Add raisins and nutmeats.
    Bake in cans, 1/2 to 2/3 full, for 45 minutes.
