Monkey Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted Crisco
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg (room temperature)
    3 c. flour (plain or self-rising)
Preparation
    Melt butter for later.
    Combine Crisco in boiling water; add sugar and salt and let cool.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Beat in egg; add to first mixture and flour.
    Mix well.
    Cover and let rise 1 hour.
    Knead and roll on floured board to 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut in various sizes.
    Dip one piece at a time in melted butter and drop around in Bundt pan.
    Let set for 1 hour, then bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
