Ingredients

1/2 c butter, softened
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 c cocoa
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pecan halves
Preparation

Cream first four ingredients together.
Add remaining ingredients and blend at low speed for 1 minute.
Shape into balls.
Bake on ungreased pans.
Press 1/2 Pecan in center of each ball before baking.
Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
