German Chocolate Sandwich Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-3/4 c. flour
    1-1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. (1-1/2 sticks) butter, softened
    2/3 c. cocoa
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, butter, cocoa, baking soda, salt, eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until blended. Stir in pecans. Drop dough into 1-1/4 inch balls on ungreased cookie sheet. flatten slightly. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until almost set. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Prepare filling. Spread flat side of one cookie with 1 heaping tablespoon of filling; cover with flat side of second cookie. Serve warm or at room temperature.
