Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly 1/4 cup soup and remaining ingredients; shape into 6 patties.
    In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
    Blend in remaining soup and 1/3 cup water.
    Cover; simmer 20 minutes or until done.
    Stir often. Makes 6 servings.
