Basil Bread Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 loaf French or Italian bread (about 10 x 4-inch)
    1/2 c. oleo or butter (soft)
    1/2 tsp. basil leaves
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. onion powder
Preparation
    Cut loaf in half (5 x 4-inch).
    Then cut each half in half (sandwich style).
    Cut each sandwich style half into 3 (1-inch) wedges 5-inches long, total of 12 wedges 1 x 5-inch long.
    In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Spread mix on all cut sides of bread wedges.
    Space on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 425\u00b0 for 7 to 9 minutes or until brown.
    Serve warm.
