Mom'S Communion Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. plain flour (4 c.), don't sift
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks), softened
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 to 3/4 c. sweet milk
Preparation

Beat 140 strokes, no less and no more.
Roll out and cook at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Immediately cut into bite size pieces, leaving about 4 strips to be broken at time of Communion.
