Wilted Lettuce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lettuce
1 1/2 c. bacon, diced
1/4 c. onion
1/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. bacon grease
1 Tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Fry bacon.
Boil 1/4 cup vinegar and 3/4 cup water.
Add to blended 1/3 cup bacon grease, 1 tablespoon flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/3 cup sugar.
Pour over lettuce, onion and bacon.
