Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
    3 large or 4 small bananas
    1 c. ground or chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Measure and sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Cream margarine; add sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla; stir until thoroughly mixed.
    Stir in mashed bananas.
    Fold in dry ingredients and nuts. Place in a well-greased bread pan (2) or 4 small bread pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
