Cranberry-Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. shortening or oleo
1 tsp. grated orange peel
3/4 c. orange juice
1 beaten egg
1 c. cranberries, chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Mix all dry ingredients together.
Cut in shortening.
Combine egg, juice and peel.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix enough just to moisten.
Fold in berries and nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a 9 x 5 x 3-inch greased and floured pan.
