Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. creamy peanut butter, divided
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. baking cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl cream butter, sugars and 1/4 cup peanut butter.
Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Divide dough into 24 pieces; flatten each into a 3-inch circle.
