Chocolate Chip Cookies 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter
    1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 cups all purpose flour (Gold Medal)
    1 (12 oz) package chocolate chips
    1 1/2 cups nuts (Macadamia)
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl beat the butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
    Add the brown sugar, and baking soda.
    Beat mixture until combined, scraping the bowl occasionally.
    Beat in the eggs and vanilla until combined.
    Beat in as much of the flour as you can with mixer.
    Using a wooden spoon, stir in any remaining flour.
    Stir in chocolate pieces and, if desired, nuts.
    Drop the dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
