Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
Preparation

Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Beat egg and add to milk.
Mix rapidly with dry ingredients, beating well.
Grease an 8-inch skillet lightly.
Pour in a small quantity of batter.
Tip the skillet so that the batter covers the whole bottom thinly.
Cook over moderate heat until under side is brown.
Turn to brown other side.
Grease again and make another pancake.
This recipe will make four or five of these large, thin cakes, which are like French crepes, but unsweetened.
Spread each pancake with Chicken Hash and roll it up.
Place in large shallow ovenproof dish, sprinkle with a little cheese or buttered fine bread crumbs and brown in broiler, 5 inches below the flame.
