Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick corn oil oleo
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 to 2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugar, cocoa, margarine and milk.
Heat to boiling point in a large saucepan, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 1/2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add oats; beat well.
Add vanilla and peanut butter; beat well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
