Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cake flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. shortening (butter)
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. chunky peanut butter

Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugars, salt, egg and peanut butter in order.
Mix together baking soda and flour and blend into peanut butter mixture.
Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Press with fork.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for ten minutes.
