Herbed Tomato-Cheese Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. biscuit mix
    2/3 c. milk
    3 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    3/4 c. commercial sour cream
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. dried whole oregano
    pinch of ground sage
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    paprika
Preparation
    Combine biscuit mix and milk, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Turn out onto a floured surface; knead 3 or 4 times.
    Press into bottom and up sides of a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top with tomato slices.
    Saute onion in butter until tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except paprika.
    Spoon mixture over tomatoes; sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Yields about 12 servings.
