Ingredients

6 c. pecan halves
2 lb. candied cherries, halved
1 lb. seedless raisins
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
1 c. whiskey
Preparation

Combine pecan halves, candied cherries, seedless raisins and 1/2 cup flour.
Let stand.
Measure and sift together ground cloves, nutmeg, 3 1/2 cups flour, allspice, soda and cinnamon. Work until smooth.
Beat together until light and fluffy, butter and brown sugar.
Stir in eggs, one at a time.
Add dry ingredients alternately with whiskey.
Blend in fruit.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Store in layers separated by wax paper.
