Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. lemon rind
    1 c. banana pulp (2 or 3 bananas mashed)
Preparation
    Sift flour and dry ingredients.
    Add sugar to Crisco and cream until fluffy. Blend in one egg at a time.
    Mix until smooth and light after each.
    Stir in nuts and lemon rind.
    Add flour alternately with banana pulp. Blend well.
    Pour into a well-greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until brown. Cool on wire rack.
