Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick oleo
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips or chopped almond bark
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco, oleo and vanilla; add eggs.
Beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt and add to creamed mixture.
Beat well.
Stir in almond bark or chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 dozen cookies.
