Pumpkin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

3 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
cream of 1 tsp. ground allspice
2 2/3 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1/3 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped raisins or dates
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans; set aside.
Combine flour and the next 5 ingredients; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, beat sugar and oil.
Add eggs, water and pumpkin; beat well.
Gradually add dry ingredients; stir just until blended.
Stir in nuts and raisins (optional).
Pour batter into greased loaf pans.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from oven to wire rack.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
Let cool completely on wire racks.
