Greasy Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

bacon or salt pork
thinly sliced peppers
thinly sliced onions
sliced tomatoes
sliced cucumbers
Preparation

Cook bacon or pork and reserve all the grease.
Spread liquid grease on rye bread, both sides, toast on grill.
Stack the veggies on the toasted bread, add salt and pepper to taste.
If bacon was used for grease, add it to the stack and cut as an open-faced sandwich.
