Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. uncooked rolled oats
1 c. Rice Krispies or crushed Corn Flakes
1 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg and mix well. Add oil and vanilla and mix well.
Add oats, cereal and coconut. Add nuts and stir well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to other ingredients and mix well.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in cold water.
Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Bake cookies for 12 minutes.
Cool a few minutes before removing.
They stay moist and keep beautifully!
