Ingredients

2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
Cream together butter and sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs; beat well.
Gradually add sifted dry ingredients, mixing well.
Fold in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until done.
Let cool on wire rack.
