3 c. sifted Pillsbury Best enriched flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (half shortening may be used)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 1/2 oz.) pkg. Andes solid chocolate mint wafers
walnut halves
Preparation

Sift flour, soda and salt together.
Cream the butter. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar; cream well.
Add unbeaten eggs, water and vanilla; beat well.
Blend in dry ingredients. Gradually mix thoroughly.
Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
