Peter Pan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine Crisco, salt and peanut butter; mix well.
    Add granulated sugar and brown sugar gradually and cream thoroughly. Add beaten eggs and mix well.
    Stir in flour and soda, blending well.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Press cookies lightly with a fork.
    Bake in a slow oven (325\u00b0) 8 to 10 minutes.
