Spaghettini Bolognese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 c. each chopped onion, celery and green pepper
    2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
    1 lb. Italian sausage, casing removed
    2 (15 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. dry red wine (optional)
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms, carrot, garlic, onion, celery and green pepper in Wesson oil in Dutch oven.
    Add sausage; cook until sausage loses redness.
    Drain fat.
    Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over hot, cooked spaghettini.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
