Mom'S Sugar Cookies(Good) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream Crisco, sugar, vanilla and egg.
Mix in remaining ingredients.
Roll into small balls.
Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar or use slotted spoon to make an interesting imprint.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
This makes 3 dozen small cookies.
