Ingredients

2 c. sifted self-rising flour
2/3 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar.
Blend in egg, milk and flavoring.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Chill in refrigerator 2 hours.
Roll 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured board.
Cut into shapes with floured cookie cutter.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in a moderate 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
