The World'S Best Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 egg
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. regular rolled oats
    1 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugars and butter.
    Cream until fluffy.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Add oil and vanilla; mix.
    Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts; stir well.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to mixture and combine well.
    Form into balls the size of walnuts. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork dipped in water.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 12 to 15 minutes.
