Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. molasses
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients.
    Mix hard to remove lumps. Makes two (1-quart) cans or one (3-pound) Crisco can.
    Steam 1 hour for 1-quart can and 3 hours for 3-pound can.
