Orange Date And Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large oranges and boiling water
    1 (8 oz.) box chopped dates
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 beaten eggs
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Squeeze juice of oranges into 2 cup measure.
    Fill with enough boiling water to make 2 cups.
    Put orange rind through grinder or grate and add to dates.
    Put in bowl and add hot juice.
    Stir in soda, then sugar, oil and vanilla.
    Add beaten eggs, then add sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
    Beat thoroughly; stir in nuts.
    Pour in greased loaf pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
