Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 c. cranberries
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Sift all
    dry ingredients; cut in shortening until like coarse cornmeal.
    Combine orange juice and egg.
    Pour over dry ingredients all at
    once
    and mix just enough to dampen.
    Fold in coarsely
    chopped
    nuts, cranberries and orange peel.
    Bake in greased loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for (1) one hour.
