Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts (use walnuts, if possible)
Preparation
    Cream butter and shortening; gradually add brown sugar and regular sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla and chopped walnuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes in tube pan (cool 10 minutes).
    Remove from pan and glaze.
