Zucchini Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 zucchini (4 if large)
    2 green peppers
    4 medium onions
    2 green tomatoes
    6 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    3/4 tsp. ginger
    chopped pimento (optional)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Grind vegetables.
    Put salt in mixture and let stand 2 hours. Drain, rinse once and drain again.
    Squeeze out vegetables.
    Mix rest of ingredients except cornstarch into vegetables; boil 10 minutes.
    Thicken with cornstarch and water.
    Pack into hot jars and seal.
