Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/4 lb. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/2 c. chunky or smooth peanut butter
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal or 3 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Mix in pan the sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine.
Put on medium heat and bring to a rolling boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Quickly add vanilla, salt and peanut butter. Stir.
Add oatmeal. Stir well. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let cool, then remove from paper.
