Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. unsweetened coconut
1 c. sunflower seeds
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips or raisins
Preparation

Cream sugars and shortening together.
Add eggs, beating well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix.
Add chocolate chips or raisins.
Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
