Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
2/3 c. water
3 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, pumpkin and water.
Mix.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts and raisins. Bake in greased and floured (2) loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3-inch).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 65 to 75 minutes or until done.
