Spiced Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can cling peaches (halves in syrup)
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
    1 tsp. whole cloves
Preparation
    Drain the peach syrup into a saucepan.
    Add sugar, vinegar and spices and boil 5 minutes.
    Add peaches and simmer 5 minutes. Allow fruit to stand in syrup overnight.
    Serve chilled.
