Cocoa Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. Crisco
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    2/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 egg, beaten
    1 3/4 c. sifted flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Blend Crisco, salt, vanilla and cocoa.
    Add brown sugar gradually and cream well.
    Add egg and mix thoroughly.
    Sift flour and soda together.
    Add flour to creamed mixture, alternately with milk, mixing well.
    Add nuts and blend.
    Drop from tablespoon on baking sheets greased with Crisco.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen. Deliciously tender tasty cookies.
