Broccoli Amandine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. slivered almonds
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. broccoli, cut stalks in quarters
Preparation

In a large skillet over low heat, saute almonds in butter until lightly brown, stirring constantly. Remove and set aside in another dish.
In the same skillet, bring water and salt to a boil. Add broccoli.
Cover and cook until crisp-tender.
Drain well and put in a heated serving dish.
Return almond butter mixture to skillet to heat.
Pour over broccoli.
